![]() ROCK WALK
The rock walk is one of the better beginner tricks to learn. While this trick is not used often to link more advanced tricks the skills that are learned from a rock walk are critical! Tricks such as fire-hydrants and 180 rollbacks benefit from your ability to know how to move your bike around like you do for a rock walk.

A: YOU weight a lot more than the bike- therefore if you decide that you want the bike to do a 180 on the front wheel or the back wheel then if you give it a little direction it will go. The hard part and a really good skill to have is knowing how to whip the bike around like that. Once you learn it, things like 180 bunnyhops will become something that won't be too difficult to learn.
